Our lives were changed Dec 8, 2009 when our daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. We became aware of a community that is suffering and a God who comforts us in all of our tribulations.

Shes giving the "thumbs up" Jamey .
She looks preciouse I wish you all the best. This is tougher on you than it is her.

One thing about cancer it never goes away, it is a life long experience and anyone that survives it will be affected till the end
BUT can live a normal active life when the fog clears.

My favorite saying and one I heard many times by my Loving family. "Get tough or die BOY"

Pray><and ask everyone you know to pray for your loved ones.

I always tried to go with my wife to her OB visits when she was pregnant. The Dr had a picture of an operation in progress and as the operation was going on, Jesus was holding and guiding the hands of the surgeon. The title of the picture was "The Great Physician". I know my spelling is off, but I think you can get the idea of the picture. Many times I have thought about that picture and just prayed that God would guide the hands of those doing the operating. I prayed many times for my father who died of cancer. He suffered many days and I prayed. He had good days and I rejoiced. In the end I learned a valuable lesson that everything is in Gods time and the most important part of any prayer is that Gods will be done not ours. God works things out. When I met my wife, her father was battling cancer. When my father fell under the same monster, she was my rock to lean on and was there with understanding and comfort. She had been there and made it, and helped me. Little did I know that I had done the same for her in her time of need. All I did for her was hold her and tell her that I love her. And she said that was all she needed. I needed more and she was there for me. I enjoy every minute with the ones I love and will always remember who gives me everyday and minute of my life. God will always be there and he puts people in our lives so we can learn from them, lean on them, and love them. I will always love my father and remember the times we spent in the woods together chasing dogs, hunting, fishing, and all the things he taught me. Cancer is a monster that forever changed my life.
