I hope it was not the one made by Night Light. I think it is was it $26. It will brun for ever but you may never find a coon with it not very bright.
it is the night light one im hoping by adding better leds and monkeying around with it i can get it brighter

the nite lite led was made for longer burn times when you dont need a brighter light I think. Like for fishin or trackin a deer or somthin like that. Thats what it say in the description for the one I looked at.

Try to make one that you can focus allowing the users to adjust from a broad flood beam to a focused spot beam.
Like this light

right now i have ordered the EXACT same reflector as the g2 and im running a buckpuck driver with potentiometer hookup and im doing both set ups one with 5-cree r-2's and one with one p-7 both will be driven by a driver ive found that is 8.4volts max and 2500MaH output the p-7 should be a good tight spot and a minimum of 900lumens the 5-r2's should be about the same as the g2 led head and on the single p-7 im gonna try to make it adjustable for flood and spot. Ive also ordered everything to make my own battery packs from 6.4v-28v and its gonna be belt light im using the western rivers belt light controller and basically im just trying to be a cheap butt and build my own light set up its really easy for me being im certified for house wiring so i have the basic principles of power requirement down and it does help my sister is an electrical engineer for one of the big 3 and she thinks ill be good and cheap
ohh another option is 18,000mcd leds 5mm

I got two ancient 6v nitelits anda 8v blazer (new bats) but won't get but 2 hrs out of them. Will that head work? I heard leds had to 18 volts or more. But I got a key chain led that works off a watch batery.
l.lyle im just experimenting right nowi will have a 6volt led set up for my nephew if i can get it to work as good as i hope ill let you know as for the 8 volt the driver is a 8.4v max input so i had to put a 8v voltage regulator on the head so the 8 volt should work in theory like i said let me play and see what works with what ive also ordered a 5 mode driver that has high,med,low,strobe,s.o.s. modes i think will switch with the click switch like i said tho im just trying to get a head everyone can afford thats super bright
