Marshall GPS + Radio

Has anyone heard any news on the Marshall GPS/Radio system? Is anyone field testing it?

They are suppose to be coming out with it late summer or fall. My son emailed the guy from Marshall and he answered a bunch of questions for him.

The rep sent it to his cell phone and I don't think he has it anymore. Basically said it would have both gps and beep-beep technology should the gps fail. The price was something like not much more than a Garmin if I remember correctly.

I myself will wait and get this one rather than a Garmin. You know the quality of Marshall's stuff is darn good. Here's their number, maybe you can squeak a little more info out of them. I did call them once too, but they didn't give me as much info as my son got out of them.

Excuse me but if this unit has the traditional Marshal Beeper unit along with GPS one only has to look at the price alone of the Traditional Marshal system to see that this is going to be a lot more money than the Garman. Just a fact, as Marshal is one of if not the most expensive tracking systems out there.

I was told the unit with 1 collar will be around $900.00, extra collars about $300.00. That is what a man that sales marshall equipment told me at the A.P.A. Breed days back in March. He did not said if the hand unit tracked both systems or just the gps.

The lady I spoke with at Marshall told me the mapping will be like google earth.
