Thanks again Corky

Thanks for pointing this out! I sent a response on this issue. Please voice your opinion to the Secretary of the WDNR and let him know these type of actions do not go unnoticed and are not in our best interests to team up with organizations like this and we will not tolerate it.

Corky that does not surprise me, before getting the job with the DNR Matt Frank was the Secretary for the Dept. of Corrections and look how screwed up that is.

You have to thank Jim Doyle for appointing him!

HSUS and DFG

The HSUS is going around handing out money to many states Fish an Game (DNR or whatever it is in your state). Here in California they made a donation to the Warden program and of course CADFG accepted it. They are trying to buy off as many state/federal wildlife agencies as possible.
We all saw what happened with Yellowtail wine...make it happen here too!!!!

thanks all

this post started as a rush this morning, before work. There will be more happening in the next couple days. I heard that the Miwwaukee paper is going to put out something on this--sports page.

The WiWF has put in a letter to the Sec.DNR and has or will be putting out a news release soon.

So if there was a dought that the DNR sleeps with the devil for money this stunt aught to fix that dought

What gets me is that HSUS gives out so much money because they are in bed with Peta! They don't use the money for animals or local animals shelters. But they use the money to help Peta take our states fish and games office, then to do what it takes to stop hunting or fishing. We have lost our America we use to know and love. When I can't go huting in an area that we have hunted for over three generations because there are so many wolves around. Knowing that ever time we put the dogs out to hunt wondering if they are going to get eaten alive today or tomorrow. To hunt here at night now is sure way to get your dog killed. We have never seen or heard so many wolves it makes me sick. No matter what you do they are more that move in. A breeder out of MN breeds wolves for the goverment to replace where the goverment needs more wolves. When do the American people get fed up with our so called goverment and clean house. Fire them all and start over. No body in office should be able to stay more then two terms. What happened to " We the people" All the goverment is for now is _____ the people. You fill in the blank!

Yellow Tail was faced with an all out boycott by the ag industry for supporting the HSUS. After being bombarded with emails They quickly realized their mistake and withdrew their support.

We need to bombard the Wisconsin DNR with emails!

I sent mine.

Here is the email I sent to all my friends.

What is the matter with the Wisconsin DNR? Have they been infiltrated by the Humane Society of the United States? Apparently so. The DNR has partnered with the largest and wealthiest animal rights organization the the world in an ad campaign.

The HSUS is an anti-hunting, anti-trapping, anti-fishing and anti-animal agriculture organization! They fool the public with their confusing name. They are not affiliated with your local "humane societies"! They don't own or operate a single animal shelter.

The HSUS has opposed pro-hunting legislation in Wisconsin and around the country. The HSUS successfully BANNED DOVE HUNTING IN MICHIGAN after spending $1 million on an anti-hunting campaign.

The HSUS is sneaky and deviant. They have suffered blows from groups like www.humanewatch.org and http://www.ussportsmen.org/ that expose the real HSUS agenda and now they're trying to sanitize their image by joining with state DNR's around the country.

As sportsmen we need to band together to let the DNR know this is unacceptable!

Send your emails to:

DNR.Secretary.Frank@wisconsin.gov

Also vote in this poll asking if the DNR should partner with the HSUS. Every vote counts!

http://poll.pollcode.com/qIPA

Forward to every hunter, fisherman, trapper and farmer you know!

here's the email a buddy of mine sent to the Wisconsin DNR. He's a retired Michigan Conservation Officer from the U.P.

Well Mr frank if the info I got is true and you are teaming up with the
Humane Soc. I know for a fact that the hunting and fishing rights are toast
in Wisconsin! They have fought against hunting and fishing for all their
history and under your administration teamed up with them. I do not
understand such a ignorant move! Check with the Conservation Wardens that
are face to face with the real people you represent in the field and See
what they say. Im not talking about your yes men around headquarters
either. Get your map out and find a remote Warden and ask him what his
contacts say about it AND THEN DONT DISCIPLINE HIM IF YOU DONT LIKE THE
ANSWER! Or Man up and hold Town meetings at sportsmans clubs open to the
public...you remember the public dont you the ones you represent? dont
send a deligate either YOU GO! get the response first hand! it wont be
good. are you tough enough? or will you hide behind a cubical?

Mike Bailey
Retired Michigan Conservation Officer.

we need to turn up the heat some more.

Weather you're from Wisconsin or not --------Let him know what you think-----this will be coming to your state too!!!!!!!

here is the email address again---------make it happen

Just talked with a friend that knew Mr. Franks from his previous job. Just like the job Mr. Franks has now with the DNR he didn't get the job because he was qualified. Mr Franks has alot of people that hate him. The poor job he did in corrections they were going to do what ever it took to get rid of an idot. Because he didn't have a clue what he job was or how to do a job he wasn't qualified for. Now look he gets another job like this that he isn't qualified in by our great Wis Gov. Who you going to vote for election time. Why do you think our great gov Dole put Mr. Frank at this job. I am for a change in Wis and going with Mr. Scott Walker. Why do you think that our Mr. Dolye and the guy he wants for his replacement are slandering Mr. Scott. So that they can keep an iodt like Mr. Franks in a job they know he will do a poor job. With such a great goverment we have puting idots in jobs the can't do because they are not qualified for and do such a shabby job but are good butt kissers.

Our State game agencies are being infiltrated with animal rights nuts who go to college and purposely enter a profession so they can instate their beliefs and undermine the sound wildlife management practices they despise.

The HSUS , PETA and other organizations are FUNDING their college tuition as well.

There's no doubt about it. Infiltrating the DNR as biologists and policy makers has been their goal for quite awhile now.

As "biologists" their "research" will determine bag limits, hunting seasons, methods and just about everything else related to hunting and fishing.

Years ago I got denied a job as a Michigan Conservation Officer because I had a history of conflicts with a top animal rights activist in Michigan. They said as a state officer I "wouldn't be impartial enough". I told them as a state officer I would enforce the law regardless of my beliefs. The Marines took me even though I didn't like the enemy... the difference was the Marine recruiter wasn't a terrorist sympathizer.

USA Hunting : USA: Local Animal Groups Sniff Out HSUS

When is a “humane society” not a humane society? When it doesn’t run a single pet shelter anywhere, and gives less than one-half of one percent of its mammoth budget to pet shelters. Unfortunately, this is an apt description of the animal rights group calling itself the “Humane Society” of the United States (HSUS). But don’t take our word for it: Local humane societies themselves are the ones calling HSUS out now.

HSUS isn’t affiliated with any local humane societies, but the similarity of its name is one reason that 71 percent of Americans think HSUS is an umbrella group for pet shelters. So when understandably confused donors give to HSUS, which then lobbies for its anti-meat, anti-hunting, and anti-everything agenda, the real hands-on dog and cat care people at humane societies are distancing themselves from the Washington lobby group.

Michigan’s Marquette County Humane Society is actually changing its name, because local residents falsely believe HSUS is helping to pay the bills. (It’s taking suggestions for new names until the end of the month.) And in Kentucky a Garrard County animal shelter decided specifically against affiliating itself with HSUS “because of its polarizing effect.”

In Wyoming, the Humane Society of Park County is renaming itself the Park County Animal Shelter. As the group’s leader told The Cody Enterprise in February: “The HSUS political agenda has created grief for us locally. We’ve tried to get the message out that we don’t receive funding and aren’t connected to them, but it hasn’t worked.”

Over time, more and more pet shelters will probably come to realize that HSUS is hurting them far more than it’s helping. And for all its bluster about wanting to see more pet adoptions, it’s HSUS’s own practice of sucking money out of local communities that’s largely to blame for America’s pet overpopulation problem. (We continue to follow this scandal on a daily basis at www.HumaneWatch.org.)
