Can someone explain the point system on bench shows for me?

best of class 10 pts.
best of breed 15 pts.
best of show 10 pts. 35 points max. earned / show

100 pts. needed with at least 1 best of show with competition under at least 2 different judges needed to earn show champion degree.

5 champion wins under at least 3 different judges needed to earn Grand champion degree. Competition not required.

Thank you. We recently got a dog that has 3 best of shows with comp we figured he'd be at least a ch now

if the dog does have 3 best of shows with competition, it would be a show champion. you can call UKC with the dog's number to verify this, or they can tell you what paperwork they have showing wins for that dog.

May want to check if there was at least 2 different judges. If it was recently it may not be processed thru UKC yet but if it's been awhile I'd call and check.
