He's not a pup anymore, but he's out of Bark and a Stylish Jake Female. He was born 1-1-06. He is an outstanding hound. Super loud, very intelligent, great cold nose, super hard tree dog, and ACCURATE. He ain't bad lookin' either. There is a some pics of him the Treeing Walker Classifieds. The title is Son of Bark at Stud.

I'm hunting a bark female....about 6 yrs old. A little rusty because she hasn't been hunted in a year, but picking it right back up.
She is a little tight mouthed, but can work a track well as the Bark line is known for. She's really good looking tri-color also.

I hope to get her back in real good shape before we breed her in June. Will be breeding her to the X, Jr. line. If anyone is interested in a pup, give me a call to be put on the waiting list. Will take deposits only after we know she has took.

She is getting back in shape well now.

Will be breeding her this month to Insane X.

We are NOW taking waiting list names. Deposits only after she had been bred, but will attempt to call the waiting list first for first option.

I hunt with PKC CH. Skuna Rv. Pixie all the time... She has 748.oo won lifetime, and she is 18 months old.

She likes to be lonesome, and she likes to have him. Can drive a track better than most old dogs, and is a decent tree dog...oh and did I say ACCURATE!!!

Mike Baker in north east missouri has a young female thats winning a bunch..shes got something like 1600 won this year and i think she got a truck ticket last month..

Posted by redtide on 06-09-2010 09:12 PM:

She is looking really good now. Can really work a track. Treed one twice in blackberries and stuff so thick we (humans) couldn't get in to her, but that's Summer coon hunting. She treed a big boar coon last week.

She's not in heat yet, and we'll keep hunting her until she is. Looking forward to this breeding. We'll keep a male, and have at least one other promised, maybe 2. The rest will be for sale.

Lady has been bred to Insane X.
She has been hunting well too...been hunting her mostly by herself the last couple of months.

Plan to take her to a comp hunt this weekend and show her. She was owned by a pleasure hunter all her life and not comp hunted or shown. But, she looks real good on the bench, and is doing really well in the woods. She's a great dog, smart, and very personable.

Pups will be due in late August. We will be taking deposits starting next week (taking waiting list now). Already have 4 spoken for, so better hurry if you want one.
Pups are $400 ($150 deposit). They will be PKC and UKC as well as performance and SS. Prefer they go to competition buyers.
Give me a call if you are interested. 318-737-8790

BTW: In the original post, you asked for the birthday of Bark pups...don't remember the exact date, but she just turned 7 in June.

Lady

It seems this post is turning into more about my female and the Insane X breeding than anything. Does anybody else have some Bark dogs doing well?

Lady looks bred and is hunting well. Working tracks well.
We have also put her in two shows, and she is probably 1 more away from CH (65 pts, best of show, best of breed, and few other things that go with it). She is a really nice looking dog.

Have 4 pups spoken for, will be taking deposits on 3-4 more. Let us know soon if interested.

You can see pics and more info. at http://www.redtidedawgs.com/

size

two questions I'm interested in about Bark / Lipper line are:

1. How many are tri-color, traditional saddle back (like Bark and Lipper)?

2. How many are of the smaller size as many in this line are?

...o.k. one more....

3. What would you say is your dog's ONE strength as far as hunting ability. The line is most often known for its abilty to track.
My female is certainly strong in that - probably her greatest hunting strength. She's smart and well mannered. to..

Mine is blanket-backed, 65-69lbs. He is on a big frame, just real lean and fit. Extremely athletic.

As far as hunting strengths, thats hard. He has developed into a heck of a dog. He is a great track dog. He can work a cold track with control. He is an absolute power house pressure tree dog. I know everyone says they have a dog that is 90% accurate... but mine really is 90% plus accurate. He just doesn't miss much. He trees a lot of coons. When he locates, i know im gonna see some eyes. I guess accuracy would be his greatest strength.

bark female

I have a 4 yr. old female that I really like. She is tri colored , blanket back and red headed, cat feet and a good head. When you turn her lose you had better be ready to hunt. She will run a track like she is tied to it. When she gets treed everone knows it. She can't hit, 120 barks a min. I can call her to me from any where as long as she can hear me. A lot of the time I think she is just to much dog for me and then I say she's a good one. I only pleasure hunt so she may never get to hunt in the big time hunts, but I sure have fun with her.

Gr.Nt. Ch. Streets Pro Bass

I believe he is a direct son of Bark. I have a direct daughter of Bass that is two. She is not finished but is well on her way. Anyone on here hunted with Bass?

yeah, i can call mine in easy too. she is very well-mannered and obedient in all areas.

she also works a track well - cold or hot. she trees hard now too. she does jack the tree some, but is very accurate. She USUALLY walks past trees other dogs on if there aren't eyes in it. I say usually, because the last time I took her, she went in to the other dogs off her track. But, that's unusual. Those trees were not slick though - either eyes or circle trees.

She has been bred to Insane X and looks like she took. Don't know if being pregnant affected her the last time or not, but we took her by herself after that and she did great. She's a good dog. Close to making show ch, and hope to get her into the hunts and winning after she is done with the pups.
