Rip Grnitech Hydes Tree Talkin Maniac Jr.

Jay Hyde just called me and told me old Maniac Jr. passed away. although i never got to hunt with Maniac, i heard from not only 1 but many sources he was a real dog that was a reproducer to boot and was Top stud in Indiana for several years, but at the same time was extremely overlooked.

i have hunted with many many dogs off maniac of grandpups and all have been extremely nice. Maniac Sired some winners like Maniac 3, OlE CHUBBY and the whitey female jay had. although he went sterile not very long ago, Jay got 1 straw off him to save for that special female.
lets hope he can find that female and produce some more winners .

Yep, he was a darn good hound. He was one reproducer who was every bit as good in the woods as he was in the stud pen and that is getting to be a rare thing.

thanks everyone jr will be miss. jr was a type of hound he never needed hunted up to go win. he was the same dog nite in nite out. when a person gets a dog like this they are to hard to please. as everyone knows i am also hard to please. i have a son off of him hes alright in my book but to someone else hes great. i dont know if i will ever be able to replace him. i only had one dog off of him that i own that was better then jr in my book and she got poision in dads kennel in 03 grnitech ch maniac jrs whitey. im makeing a uncle and nease cross and hope i get one like jr or whitey. thanks again everyone . rest in peace my buddy.

Im huntin the Maniac Jr Son #2 dog... My step dad bought him a couple years ago and he wants to get some pups outta him so he asked me to make him a NiteCh for him bcuz he is just a hide hunter!
