Bluetick Days Golf Outing

For those coming to Bluetick Days early, we do a Best ball format on Thursday morning.

We pick teams and play 18 and have lots of fun doing so !!!!

If you think you would be interested in playing send me a pm so we can get a count on the number of folks taking part in this our 10th year of this outing !!

I'll post which course we will be playing before Bluetick Days, I do know we have settled on a 8:00 a.m. t-time so we get done in plenty of time for the Invitational dinner

Talked with Shane and he and Justin are in, so is Bub so looking like we may have a few teams this year !!

I don't think Tiger would want to play these tough little country courses He'd have to leave half his clubs at home lmao as he would never be able to use his driver or he'd be in the next county, and putting on these tough ole nasty greens that are not set up to roll fast and flat

They might keep score like I do. If I come home with more balls than I started with, it was a good day and believe I search a lot of rough for my ball!

And don't put no water any where with in a mile or two. Longest drive, straight down the fairway I ever made was right in a creek 50yards futher then I had or have since driven a ball!

We could make it interesting - play only in hip waders but then I think the course manager would think we are all nuts!!

You'd be suprised, ole shane can crank oue out there every now and then and Willy he plays safe and works to beat you on every hole. He hates to get beat so he works hard to try and control the ball.

Don't worry though, everyone hits a few bad ones and the ribbing goes on till the next one !!

This sounds like it could be a great time to have some fun. I have been thinking about joining you guys in a game of hitting the little white ball around and chasing it all over the place. What do they call it, oh ya!! Golf!! LOL!! I have played a little golf in my days but not lately. Maybe I'll drag the old ping eye 3 irons and my Callaway Big bertha metal woods out and get them cleaned up a bit!! It's been a few years. Might even have to hit or maybe shank a few balls to get warmwd up. Mark, I'll let ya know soon if I can join in on the fun. Later, Danny G.

I use to hit my driver 60 or 65 yards and my lob wedge 300 plus yards!! OH!! Maybe it's the other way around!! Sure would like to join the bunch and have a great time! Put me down for a 18 handy capper!! I should help out the team then!! !! PS!! Todd, if you be a good boy, I'll just give them to ya if ya show up! Lock, stock and the bag too!! No balls of course, I lost them all!!

2) Danny glad to have ya along !! It is always fun and we may play 6/6/6 for 18, or if we have enopugh we just do a 3 or 4 man scramble. It helps us move along at a failry faster pace of SLOW !!
