Finley River Little Hawk

I was in the Hardware store today and a man asked if I coonhunted I said yes. He told me that he owned Finley River Little Hawk. I know of the dog but I haven't hunted with him and I never had the time to talk to him. But, does anyone remember hunting the dog.

Well I think the guy lives around Jefferson Iowa. He told me he was done coonhunting and into bass fishing. Little Hawk died when he was 7 years old and he told me he got out of coonhunting after that.

Steve,

Bob Mings was the man who owned him. I believe he was the first world show champion to become a grand nite. Bill Mick put most of the hunt wins on Hawk. Bob still lives in Onawa, IA. White page him and get his # he is in the book.

wouldn't have Mundo been a acha world show ch. I don't believe UKC had a world hunt or show in the 70's. But am not sure.

I don't think Mulerider made that distinction. It may have been implied, but not stated. You are correct about Mundo being ACHA World Show Ch. It was the only World Show and World Hunt held at the time.
