Nite Lite 6 Volt Bulb?

What bulb does the Nite Lite 6 volt take? I put a 12V32 in it and its real dim, a BM30 came out of it, if I put a BM30 back in it will it help the brightness? I'm just trying to figure out if I have a charging problem or if its something else....

I use the 12v32 in 17v and 21v lights.

My son's 6 volt light I have 10564 bulb.

Here is Nite Lite's bulbs that fit their 6 volt lights:

Ok Buckshot, do you think the 12V32 is causing the 6volt light to be dim?

Also are you a member of the SBA? If not we'd love to have you!

12v32 is not designed for the 6 volt.

The 10564 is the best bulb in my opinion for a 6v -- a hearty bulb.

No, not a member of SBA.....Pleasure hunt the coonhounds......trying to comp hunt the bassets but closest club is over 4 hours away so I am limited to clubs and events.

6 volt light

If- you have the 6 vlt light WITH a reostat switch ...
the BM 30 is a LOW SIDE bulb ONLY

If you want a HI/LOW use the 3232 or the 1440
If you want LOW only on both sides of the head then you can use the BM30,

any questions , just give me a call

I used the 3232 bulb when I was using my nite light. It is a 4 volt bulb that overloads to make it bright like the 12v bulbs do in the high voltage lights. Like the other lights you have to be sure to warm up the bulb before turning the power up because you will blow bulbs if you don't. Six volt bulbs are not bright enough. If I'm not mistaken the BM30 is a high low bulb too but not as bright as the 3232. Has been a long time.

Nah, I gotta get the tape back out for my head! LOL

My father in law sold this little 6 volt to a buddy of mine and its real dim with that 12V32 bulb in it and I was just trying to figure out which bulb is the right one for it.

I ran a 1440 in my night light. If I remember right, they don't recommend using that bulb, but I did for many years.
