Idaho bear hunters

Any Idaho bear hunters getting going yet? I have a hound hunter permit, was planning on coming up in August, any ideas? Does anyone know of any bear training hound handlers in Idaho by any chance? Shoot me a PM if you do. Thanks and good luck! DJK

The snow is still pretty much too deep every where to be hunting yet but the season does open on the 15th.I don't think you want to come in August as bear pursuit closes the end of July.Harvest season starts August 30th.What are you looking for in regards to training.I've never trained anyones hounds for money but I might consider it.I can put dogs on as many bears as anyone around here.I treed 71 last year with just my hounds as I hunt alone.
