Awsome....We used to head down to the creek(Eastern OK) a few days after it rained and would look for days and find them ....We used to sell them to the lady up the street for $1.00 a piece.(If they were in good shape) I wonder how many she had when it was all said and done,I'm sure it was a nice collection.

Nice find, I haven't looked for arrow heads in a few years but used to find a bunch of them. I have a lot of native american blood in my ancestory and really enjoy the history of it all. I live in the Genesee river valley in southern NY and the longhouse was just down the road from my house on the opposite side of the river and there is also a monument where the Seneca's put a white man through the gauntlet and he survived! He must have been a tough son of a gun. If you ever get up this way make sure to visit Letchworth state park, beautiful landscape with gorges, huge waterfalls, and a bunch of Indian history with the old home of Mary Jemmison who was kidnapped and raised by the indians. Lots of Indian artifacts and even a skeleton of a wooly mammoth which is really cool. Good luck on your next arrow head hunt!!
