What the !@#$
Went out Thursday night, treed 6, all on the outside, but, the last two nights every coon has hit a hole or a den. Can anyone give me any insight on what might have changed? Its just strange to me that one night every coon was on the outside, then just a few nights later every one is hitting holes and dens.

maybe your dog beats the coon to the tree? LOL
This time of year can produce some of the best nights of hunting, and the worst.
Just bad luck, most likely you are hitting tracks left by females going back to their kittens.
to outback
well, I know for sure they didn't beat three of them last night, saw tails in two of the dens and heard one squall in a hole, i just thought it was wierd, sunday night was in a different place, but, thursday night and last night were in the same block, i did come in from the other direction last night though, so, maybe i just pushed them back to their dens instead of away from them. who knows? just thought it was an interesting observation.
