Only 11 days til we kick off a great season of coonhound events! Come out and have a great time we'll begin the day with a bench show at 1 pm, followed by a kiddie bench show. Then down the hill to an exciting water race(3 pm) where everyone will be watching the fun. Next, we'll track back up the hill and to the wooded area for a field trial(5pm) to test your hounds ability! But stick around for the non ukc sanctioned treeing contest. Bring your family there's plenty to do the boys usually have a friendly game of football or basketball and there's always plenty to eat. All the events are 15. Except the nite hunt which is 20. Don't miss the 7pm deadline!! Hope to see yall there!

8824 Back Creek Valley Rd. Hedgesville, WV. 25427

WV, Charles Town; Tri-State Houndsman Assn 1-81 N or S take exit 5 Inwood, WV. (81-N), left over overpass or, (I81-S), turn right off of exit through Gerrardstown. Come to 4 way stop at top of Mtn. go straight. Turn right at stop sign onto CR-7 Shanghai. Go approx. 3.5 mi. End at 8824 Back Creek Valley Rd. Hedgesville, WV. 25427. Follow signs. Contact Tim Shanley (304) 839-7823

Should be about 26 miles, approx. 45 minute ride for ya Bruce.

1. Start out going WEST on W MAIN ST/MD-144 toward FULTON ST. 0.5 mi

2. Turn SHARP LEFT onto US-522 (Crossing into WEST VIRGINIA). 0.7 mi

3. Turn LEFT onto CR-1. 0.7 mi

4. Turn LEFT to stay on CR-1. 6.6 mi

5. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto HOUSEHOLDER RD/CR-10. 0.7 mi

6. Turn RIGHT to stay on HOUSEHOLDER RD/CR-10. 2.5 mi

7. Turn RIGHT onto CHERRY RUN RD/CR-5. 3.2 mi

8. Turn LEFT onto WV-9/MARTINSBURG RD. Continue to follow WV-9. 4.6 mi

9. Turn SHARP RIGHT onto BACK CREEK VALLEY RD/CR-7. 6.4 mi

10. 8824 BACK CREEK VALLEY RD is on the LEFT.
