Heat? when to breed?

my buddys bitch has just started bleeding today,he wants to know when he can get her bred?thanks

Day twelve after the first sign of blood.All females can differ and the best way is to test them and breed from there!

I always start checking them right away in case the female is the type that goesright back out. Usually on most females Ive encountered. they are usually the hottest between the 9th and 12th day. I usually breed them on the 9th day and again on the 11th day. Works like a charm.

I always try to breed them first on day 12-13 from first blood.Then breed the dogs at least 2 maybe 3 times if possible.So you have a better chance at having a litter....Ive bred a few dogs once and never had pups......
