Performance Checks Update
I've been advised that the UKC Accounting Department will be starting the printing process this afternoon. Obviously, I would have liked to be able to get your checks out sooner than this but I understand that they've been working endlessly to get this done. It's a huge undertaking including going over everything to make sure everything is good to go before the process is started.
They tell me that 3300 of you guys should be keeping an eye on your mail next week!
FYI - Here are some final numbers in terms of the 2009 PRP.
Total Payout - $531,418.21
Total Points Earned - 3465.94
Gross Per Point Value = $153.32
good stuff!!
really only 3300 people getting checks?? the performance sire section in CB is getting mighty long...
just seems like a lower number than i expected...i know the program is new and not all the dogs get hunted in the nite hunts and such...but between checks going to sires, dams, and dogs in the program, i just figured it would be a higher number..
but, i'll let the dog owner know a checked aughta show up in the next few weeks as i know shes in the program and i believe we got 4-5pts on her last year...
Great! I should get just enough to cover my costs for the Super Stakes.
mauser, that number of 3300 is actually nearly three times more than last year. I would think it has a lot to do with the rule changes in regards to owners at the time of points earned vs the past rules where the owner on record as of December 31st got the check.
Anyone care to help stuff 3300 envelopes?
I'll help Allen, but your licking them.

thanx Allen...didnt realize that..this is the first year we have hunted that particular dog in the nite hunts so were new to the program...though she is 5...
owner says shes permanently nominated or whatever...i know i personally put about 3 points on her..so she aughta have 3-5..we'll see...be nice for the owner since they pay my entry fees! lol...
i'll let them know they should get it in a few weeks...they'll be happy! its gettin dark! time to go pick her up for a couple drops!
Allen
Would YOU please help me with something?
If several years ago I had two stud dogs that I bred quite a bit and I was listed as the breeder...
If dogs out of those two dogs did any winning this last year... who will get the performance money...
I know the rules change but can you please help me...

Gene,
Any Permanently Nominated dogs who earn points in any given year; their sires owners (on record) at the time of breeding will earn 10% of their earnings.
In reference to your question; you as the owner at the time of breeding would get the 10%.
Allen
THANKS, this is a GOOD PROGRAM,,, this is the way it should have been done...
GOOD JOB UKC!!!!
