hard hat tip

I don't know if anyone else out there does this, but I just hate wearing the hard hat for my light. To make or more comfortable, I started wearing a ball cap under it. It is just so much nicer on your head and warmer in the cold weather. If anybody else has a better idea on this, I would love to hear it. Thanks

Get a Western Rivers bump cap you will love it. A welder's cap under the bump cap works good also.

I saw a guy with one of those neck straps and thought I would like it. Bought one and tried it for a week and threw it away. You hae to constantly use one hand to point the light and I need both hands free to write on scorecards and work a stop watch. It was just annoying.

They make liners that go inside of hard hats. They seem to work nice under bump hats as well.

go to your work clothing store(some place they sell hard hats for work or pretty much strictly work clothes). they sell liners for hard hats that are meant to attach right to them and are super comortable.

I hunt in a baseball cap or cowboy hat and hold my headlamp in my hand.
