Tennessee people, I need your help...

We have been wanting to come to a couple of hunts in TN that are pretty close to home. We live in Jackson County NC, and it take about 30-45 minutes to drive to Fines Creek.

Are their any clubs fairly close to Fines Creek-within 1 hour?

What about Chestnut Hill? Jefferson Co CHA Take I- 40, then Hwy. 411 towards Sevierville. Go past Bush Bros. Canning Factory. Take first left, held at the ball field. Signs posted. Contact Roger Shorter (865) 453-3595

clubs in Tn near W. Carolina

Hi Chisty
I think Chestnut hill is about 30 to 35 miles from the tn/ Nc state line of I 40.

Two clubs that are closer, are High Oaks Coon Club, Newport, Tn, exit 440 only 12 miles from state line. always call for exact directions when unsure.
Also Parrotsville may be closer than Chestnut Hill for you too, it's about 10 miles from Newport but a different exit.
Sometimes the clubs move around to newer locations and forget to update the directions in coonhound bloodlines magazine. note: call ahead for good directions..
There are also nice clubs a little further, like about an hour but less than two from the state line. Rogersville has the best food; It's not hard to find after you get used to it. Blountville near Bristol also is a very hospitable club. And there is Kodak, tn, at the Dollywood exit.
These places could be hard to find without double checking the directions by contacting the number included with the club listings; I could not stress this enough. Hope this helps.

Thanks a bunch.

We've been thinking quite a bit about going to some of the TN hunts since sometimes people from TN come to our club to hunt.

tn clubs

chestnut hill,newport,parrotsville,and kodak are all within an hour of fines creek. chestnut hill has a hunt sept. 6th

Our club is located in Tellico Plains which is about 1 hr from murphy also we are having a walker sec. sept. 27
I lived in clyde NC for 34 yrs and i hunt the jackson co. club
when it was down by the railroad

Well, we might just venture that way for the sectional!!

Are you talking about when it was in Dillsboro, down by the River?

Is it hard to get there? We have been to Steccoah, to the Lake Bed's Competition, but that's about as far past Murphy I've ever been.

hey town ,i was down your way some time back,i got to drive the semi out on the golf course at myrtle beach to pick up the stands from the ternament. thought that was a trip driveing down the golf cart trails.lol
