Combined Hunts and Bench Shows

Hi Folks,
My Setter club is discussing a combined field-trial / conformation show weekend. This would be similar to your combined night hunt / bench shows.
Is there a link that you can guide us to that would give detailed information as to how you hounddog folk set these programs up?
Or, if not, could you explain the general (or specific) entry rules.
For example, I seem to remember seeing your events televised and think I remember a requirement of bench entries must be hunt entries as well. Does this work in reverse too?
Any guidance would be most appreciated by me, and our setter club.

i think the beagle program has a requirement such as you mention - but the coondhound shows do not. There is a bench show before the hunt and dogs can be entered in either or both.
