Well you have to remember their are 2 sides to every story.... Hope you get your dogs back in good health. I can see UKC not wanting any slander or names or stone throwing on this site... I believe the way you have it listed this way will be more suitable instead of names and how it happened. as i stated before it sounds like a bad deal and good luck to the return of your Hounds...

send pm to every person on this site so they would know who sold your dogs and who ever bought them if they dont return them they are just as guilty as the person was that stold them dog.i hate people that still,david boggs ps i know several people in ohio if i can help you just pm me please.becauls i have a dog in ohio now,david boggs

Hounds in Ohio

YEARS AGO, when I lived in Oklahoma, the person I pleasure hunted with owned a SUPER male TW that was finally stolen from his yard. The dog was traced, thru a lot of legwork, and conversations with dog jockeys, to Ohio. This man had a photo of his dog on a qualification certificate as a qualifier for national competition. He found his dog - actually saw it tied in the yard of a mayor in a small town. He had taken the local Sheriff with him so that he could retrieve his dog. The man agreed that the dog belonged to my friend after seeing the photo on the qualification certificate and stated that if he wanted him back he could pay $2,500, the amount the man had paid. The Sheriff stated that obviously the two of them had things "worked out" and he left. Two big burly men came forward in the man's yard - one took the dog away and the other stayed to prevent my friend from going after his dog. My friend had a minimum wage job and a family (two children & a wife) so he couldn't afford to pursue the situation, resulting in the loss of a family pet and his beloved hunting companion.

... sad to see how many dawgs have been stolen in the past few years... WIth Vera's dawg Queenie (Who we have actually known) and these good looking hounds... it really makes you wonder WHO is keeping all these dawgs... Are they House pets? Are they hunting? Are people stealing them so their OWN dawgs can win shows and or hunts? Are they breeding them and putting false papers on them?
Whatever it is that is happens is awful... Hope that these hounds ALL make it home someday soon....

I know what you mean Heather alot of people are thinking the same thing. How can these dogs just vanish with out a trace. Does make a person wonder. We are going to Lambert Vet Supply and are going to micro chip our dogs and pups. Plus now going to start DNA profile some of the dogs. We have leased Babe's brother from a guy in WV will pick him up in May. We still have a very nice female out of Butch Jessie. So I will cross the two after what I have seen out of Butcher and Babe. Stormy and Miley are some very nice dogs. I have seen the other littermates and they are as nice. We have Fancy Nancy and she is producing they same quality in her pups. Stacey still has Butcher's sister Topic and she is producing some quality pups also.

i had a female pup will be 9 months old, looks just like the sire but small like her mom, i hate these dogs came up missin, good luck, hlope you get them back, and if so could i ask how are these dogs breed? just like to know havent sent in the pup papers yet?

Stolen Dogs;

Were these dogs DNA'd? If so, you might want to contact the primary DNA providers like Genomics & give them the Dna #'s so if anyone wanted to put false papers on them & have them DNA'd, they could instantly know where your suspects, or the new owners of the dogs live! Just a thought...
