Declawing
I am considering declawing my gyps front feet. She is tearing up the yard and her pen. She is primarily apet just hunted a little. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Any opinion appreciated.

How old is your dog? Most of them stop digging as they age.

Yeah, that's still a puppy in a lot of ways. Probably bored. When I hunt mine it doesn't dig much. When I let it sit for a few days it starts diggin n chewin.
Declawing seems pretty extreme. I would just try to find a way to exercise the pup for a few months. When it's older it will be not as likely to dig so much.

I feel your pain, scc20 ... I'm just not sure mine would stop even if they lost their claws? It seems they've gotten worse in the last month or so, as well ...
