Tonights hunt.

I hunted Boone,Maverick and Daisy.

Daisy had first strike followed by Boone then Maverick.They worked their way through a field full of Autumn Olives up a creek and hit a couple trees as they went.They worked the track through a small piece of woods and back into a Autumn Olive thicket and Daisy hit treed.Folllowed by Boone,but Boone didn't hit it like he normally does.I started to the tree and Boone shut up before I got there.Just as I got to the tree Daisy was treed on Boone hits a tree anbout 25 yards away.Daisy pulls from her tree and joins Boone.I look in the first tree just for a min and don't see anything so I figure she was wrong and went to Boone.When I get to their tree I see the coon right away.Maverick is still trying to work the track as I listen to the other two tree.Maverick trails in behind me and comes treed hard!!!!!! I leash Boone and Daisy at their tree and head to Maverick.He has a coon too !!!!!!!! I rolled his coon out and then went to the other tree and rolled theirs out also.Leashed the dogs told them what a good job they had done and came home...

SOUNDS GOOD. I BELIEVE WE ARE DOWN 3 NOW FROM YOU LOL.

SHOULD HAVE WON LASTNIGHT WITH KING I SCREWED UP THOUGH. 3 DOG CAST FIRST DROP DOGS DIDNT MAKE A SOUND. CALLED TIME OUT AND WENT TO THE RIVER. SECOND DROP THERE WAS 3 DEER IN THE EDGE OF THE WOODS. I ASK IF ANY OF THERE DOGS WOULD RUN DEER NO ONE SAID ANYTHING. BOTH OTHER DOGS WHERE JUST A YEAR OLD. SURE ENOUGH THOSE TWO DOGS STRUCK ON THE DEER AND RAN IT. WELL AS WE WAS TRYING TO KEEP IN HEARING OF THEM KING STRUCK BELOW US BARKED ABOUT 5 TIME REAL SPACED OUT AND THEN CAME IN. WE KEPT WALKING TOWARD THE OTHER TWO DOGS TO KEEP IN HEARING. KING STRUCK AGAIN BARKED JUST A FEW TIME AND CAME BACK IN. WE WALKED A WAYS ON TOWARD THE OTHER TWO. KING GOT STRUCK BACK IN. WELL WE GOT ON TOP OF THE RIDGE AND KING WAS DOWN ON THE ONE SIDE AND THE OTHER TWO WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE. KING WAS NOT BURNING THE TRACK UP AND WE HAD DONE USED 70 MIN. ON THIS DROP. SO WE SEEN THE OTHER TWO GUYS DOGS AND SEEN THE WHITE BUT IT WAS CHASING SO I AGREAD TO CALL TIME OUT SO WE COULD MOVE ON. WELL WE COUGHT THEM DOGS AND GOT BACK OVER THE TOP AND KING WAS HAMMERING. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. WE GOT DOWN TO HIM. AND SURE ENOUGH HE HAD THE RING TAIL. I WAS KICKING MYSELF IN THE BUTT FOR THAT. HERE I SET -150. ONE GUY WD AND THE OTHER WE HAD 23 MIN. TO HUNT LEFT. MADE LAST DROP AND OTHER DOG GOT FIRST STRIKE THEN KING. THEY WORKED IT AND KING LOCATED AND I JUMP THE GUN AND TREED HIM WELL THE OTHER DOG FELL TREE WITH HIM SO HE TREED HIM. STARTED TO THEM AND THEY PULLED AND WENT BACK TO TRACKING AND TRACKED TILL TIME RUN OUT. WHAT A NIGHT. PLUS I BLEW MY ONLY BULB I HAD WITH ME ON THE SECOND DROP.

SOULD HAVE HAD A CAST WIN LOL. LIVE AND LEARN I GUESS.

She's nice Hobo when you gonna have pups from her? Sadie should have won that hunt last night but it was my first hunt and I let them screw me. She would have had it hands down with a different handler I believe. Had all the dog power just no handler power I guess that will be chalked up as a learning experience huh?

NOW HOBO YOU KNOW YOU STAGED THEM PICS, NOTICE YA LEFT THE COOL WHIP AT HOME ROFLMAO J/K GREAT PICS, WE TREED 5 LAST NIGHT. TOOK A FEW HOURS FOR THE COON TO MOVE AS WE MADE 4 DUMPS AND ENDED UP ON JUST DENS AND TREEPILES, BUT ONCE THE COON STARTED MOVIN IT WAS ON LOL. LEFT AT 8 GOT BACK IN AT 3 AND I THINK THEY ARE A LIL SORE LOL

HOBO YOU DIDN'T PUT ENOUGH BAKING SODA AND VINIGAR IN THERE MOUTHS CAUSE THERE NO SLOBBERING LOL. I SEE YOU DIDN MANAGE TO GET THE COOL WHIPP ON THE TREE FROM THE LOOKS OF THEM LOL.

Hobo, what kind of camera do you use? Your pictures always look so nice.

Thank you John.My camera is a Samsung digitmax 350s 3.2mega pixels.I just use the flash from the camera and I don't use the night time settings.
