Congratulations Mr & Mrs Red Cedar

Hey all........... just sending my congrats to Chris and Jenny on the arrival of their son. Born yesterday, around 2:30pm, weighed 7lbs 6oz and was 19 3/4 inches. I believe the name of choice was Peyton, but do not guarantee that one.

I guess I'll have to go get the 3 legged wonder and hunt him cause it appears RC is going to be busy for a while!

Congratulations...

They must have got tired of me calling all the time asking if the arrival had came and decided to get it over with.

Congrats Mr and Mrs. RC. I have two children that were born this time of the year. If you count back 9 months that would put you in Feb. when season just ended and it's to cold to go pleasure hunting. Chris you may need another hobby after coon season closes. LOL Good job

Hey congratulations Christopher!! There is no joy as big as being a Father unless it is being a Mother. The two of you have begun on the road that many of us have already traveled and you will enjoy so much more than you ever thought possible. It ain't all roses but even the bad along with the good will make your life richer.
DADDY!!!!!!! Doesn't that word bring a smile to your face??? LOL.

Yea, You have a lot to look foreward too.....Wife constantly complaining about how she is raising the kids alone while your out hunting....The sleepless nights....And when you have another, the constant bickering.

Its all worth it though......

Congrats on the new hunting buddy.

Oh yea, just when you resign to the fact that you will never get more than 3 hours of sleep again.....The kid will know he has won.......Knowing his father is now a broken man he will then sleep soundly through the night.

RC won't be getting any sleep day or night. He just started a new job at the same place I work and is working 12 hour night shifts! The good thing is he is not out numbered at home any more.

Thanks Everybody for the Kindness

Sleep...what is that? It sounds vaguely familiar. All I hear now is newborn crying and a three year old that is exploring the limits of her vocabulary.

What little hunting I did before has ground to a halt. Hide season is upon us this weekend, my dog is fat as a tick and I'm pretty close behind him. By the time I'm ready to get any hunting in, the shiners, trappers and Walker dog owners (except Rob and Josh) will have all the easy ones skinned. Those being the only ones I ever tree.

Billy George, never let it be said that I take a back seat to a Black and Tan man at anything...lol! And by the way, just to cut off your next comeback, the kid looks nothing like you Hope to see you at the meeting, but I doubt anybody would fault you if we didn't.

Smoke old buddy, you hit it right on the head. I am no longer outnumbered in the house. My timing is under significant review. Eric is right. There is not much to do in February. For awhile there I was wondering if I was going down three to one. Having visions of naked, dismembered Barbies everywhere was not sitting well with me. Hope your month long coondog vacation is going well.

And Pappy, just so you know, I'd take, "Hey Dad" over "Tree Joe" any day of the week.

Thanks again all.

RC
