sexton dog food

does any1 no anything about this feed?

feed the sexton in the red bag for a while i liked it no problems here.
johnsons sporting good stopped getting in they said that the $ keept going up....you know how it is when you find something priced to your pocketbook it seems to just keep getting to expensive for a poor country boy to buy.

I like it as much as I did Black Gold. also like the fact they sell it with even protein to fat. I feed the orange bag its 20/20

Its cheap here. 50 lbs for 20.00 even, but it makes my hounds real wormy for some reason.

worst feed ?? and makes your dog wormy ?? do tell more please i feed it the white bag but i dont want it to be the worst i can feed or to make mine wormy stool seems good and dont have to feed alot of it

I feed the red bag when I cant get what I normally feed pretty sure that there not wormey ( frome the feed any way ) don't like the stool they have on it but may be were they don't have time to get used to it.

Good feed,been feeding it for years now.

I fed it for quite a while (white bag) with no problems but I went to Diamond Extreme Athlete.

On Diamond, I feed 1/2 of what I did of the Sexton bros. feed and the dogs look MUCH better, shiny, full of energy, small stools and EASY kennel cleanup.

I buy the white bag it is 24% protein and 18% fat. I pay 17 dollars for a 50 pound bag. we been using it for around 2 years now.

been feeding about 2 months 20 bucks a bag 4 22 16 17bucks 4 21 10

good feed buddy feeds it to his hounds buys it at 70 feeds here and its 16 a bag if u buy at least 8 bags its the white bag with a walker dog on front and the orange bag with walker on front to dogs with pups

It may be just where its warming up. Ive always heard to drop down on the protein in the summer to keep them from sweating so much and burning them up. It may not be true,but if it is i assume the protein would make them thurstier in the warm weather.

this is the wackyist dog food post i have ever seen dog food that gives your dog worms lol
feed a good feed that requires half as much and dogs act up unbelievable.
i willbet all the sexton feed is grain based eeeeexcept maybe the top protein one they make any one thats knows proper dog nutrition eequires a minimum 0f 21 protein and 10 percent fat now noticed thts for maintenance not a working dog.
also it's been proven over and over again a dog is a meat eater not a grain eater any dog food whose first ingredient is corn is crap,
some one posted when he is out of his regular brand he feeds the red bag i dont care if you feed the best when you run out your dog is going to get loose stool and a lot of it any change has to be brought about gradual or they will get loose excess stools. dogs can't get worms from dog food as if you find worms in the food there worms that eat grains they dont need to cycle through a dog
educate yourself on proper nutrition for your hounds you will save money have fewer vet bills and your hound will live and hunts a lot more years

Regardless of what you say and know, i know my dogs. I had to worm them a heck of alot more on that feed. I still like it and use it but i know worms when i see them.

your right you and i may eat corn but neither of us has a dogs digestive system if we did the world would be a sh//y place as we eat something differant every day corn is real hard for a dog to digest and most of it passes through without the dog getting any benifit from eating it.
Bobby Stevens what ever you want to think but worms in an animal have to go through a cycle and do tell me how do the worm eggs get into the dog from a processed food . you statement is quite wrong

you ever go see it made i bet you quit feeding it.i would rather bake corn bread for my dogs then feed that stuff it is nasty and i like feeding my dogs GOOD FEED exceed brand you can onley buy it at sames club your dog will like you better
