UKC hunt Sat. in Charleston.IL.

WE will be having our 2nd UKC hunt and show Sat. March 6th. Everyone is welcome to come out and visit, we had a great turn out our first hunt and hope to see every one at the club.

Mark, thanks for posting the Bench Show winners. LOL. There should have been some good scores, the coon were running. We saw a couple on the way home.

I was Rex But Mama said i spent to much money on coonhuntn this week. So i stayed close to home. Kinda glad two first &first & no coon

Gut ,I went crappie fishing today..got 22 over 10 inches[threw probably 30 back under 10 inches........sure was nice on the river today...

Gut .they didn't bite as good today ..river started falling ..got a dozen today ...one 8 pounder...won't be able to go till next week if its warm enough ..I'll give you a call..I did catch 4 of these .............they are working on the airtight bridge... putting a new floor on it.........new steel...........

I have had a couple of nice crappie catches. I had a 6 fish stringer of channels that weighed over 30 pounds. But, lately, I have found a trick that is working on the local stripers (not strippers, LOL) and having some fun with them. Those buggers can really put up a fight!

Does the club pond still have a decent crappie population? It is still members only isn't it?
