Party Time!!!

They JUST announced GW is in for another 4 more years. Also Maine keeps their bear hunting. Sounds like a good election. I think we all can breathe now and forget about staching our cash and guns in the dirt and giving up our dogs.

Hickman,
Getting rid of that devisive, rodent, liberal senator is such a relief for SD and the USA. Looks like Christian, conservative values mean a lot more to voters than those gun stealing, anti-hunting, homo loving, tax raising Dems ever imagined. Thanks to all Christians that prayed for God to give us four more years of morality and honesty. Thank you God.

Bigtime,

I couldn't agree more! Finally SD has seen the light! Now maybe when Iowa's illustrious a hole Tom Harkin comes up for reelection we can boot him out too.

The truth is the truth. Bush is a Christian. Our responsibility as a Christian is to take back what we have lost. This election revealed that the world is not full of queers and baby killers. Look how many states soundly banned gay marriages through constitutional amendments. Stop believing all the garbage you see on television.

Christians must answer the call, we now know position of this nation. We must rid this country from having homosexual teachers. We must clean-up the minds of our young people by teaching them the truth not necessarily tolerance.

We have an opportunity to have a great revival of this wonderful country. We can sit on our tails and do nothing or we can literally change the world. Paul never knew exactly where he was going, but he also got up and went. It is time for us to get in motion, God will direct our feed and minds if we let Him. If you choose to sit still, you will still be sitting there complaining about how miserable your life is 10 years from now. The fruit is ripe, we must harvest souls before the spoiling process begins. God bless America.

Stacy

You are lucky that America has become so liberal and that you have the right to say what you want even if it is not very nice or intelligent to wish on your president. In the old days you could've been hung for treason for words like that! For all the rest of you party blinded people....get over it already. It's done, it's over, accept that you have a person who is the boss and respect that he is the top of our country. Not that he's for one party or the other or in one or the other......As long as he's for the people that what he's suppose to do or try to do. Nobody is perfect and we are all flawed. But I believe that he has and will still try to do what he thinks is best for all of us. He's the Big Daddy and I respect that of his job and of some of his views not all. But I respect my president because I am a patriotic american and I respect the job!

Lets not forget one of the basis, that this country was founded, seperation of church and state. Everyone is free to worship the way they like to. Everyone is free to thier own political views.

gravedigger

atleast i'm not afraid to say what i feel so yes i am thankful for the freedom of speech but as far as i'm concerned the half assed president that is in the white house is worthless and no i dont know if kerry would have been any better but i would have rather seen anyone get in office than bush so i've said it before and i will say it again opinions are like *******s everyone has one and i will keep mine and you can keep yours

I dont think the the democrats are connecting with average american. They can't seem to get a handle on the Senate or the House and then go and nominate the most Liberal pair they can to run for president. In my opinion Gephart would have defeated Bush easily and would probably have been a good president. The majority of the country is not that far to the left. Bush did his best to give him the presidency, but I think Kerry's weakness not Bush's strength saved him. If the democrats don't overhaul their platform there may not be many of them left in a few years.

You call yourself Christians voting for someone who is having innocent people killed everyday so he and his big business tychoons can get rich while american families suffer. YOU STUPID SHEEP U HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOUVE DONE. You elected the closest thing to the antichrist Ive ever seen.

I have said it before and I will say it again, those people in the war signed up for the services on their own free will, Bush did not make them!! I lost a classmate to the war but you won't hear me or his family blaming Bush for it. He was prepared and willing to die for his country if the need be. Obviously the need was there. His family says he was proud to serve our country and also proud to give the ultimate sacrifice for it. Same goes for another friend of mine that was injured in the same attack, he was shot in the face and still wants to go back to Iraq and serve his country. For the poeple who joined for any other reason than serving and protecting their country, I feel sorry for them and they shouldn't have joined. They should realized what our military was for, not just for the money or for help with college.

Coldtrail

I think you're on the right track. I think what the Democrats need is a non-city, non-yuppie, working-class-background, true-to-his-roots type of candidate.

This should not have been a hard election for the Democrats to win.

Will we ever get a candidate that grew up on a farm, can shoot a deer, and cut it up too. One that knows that a T-Bone steak comes from a cow (and can tell you what part of the cow it comes from) instead of one that thinks a T-Bone comes from a store or restaurant. One that went to a state university (because that's what they could afford), instead of an ivory-tower, out-of-touch, Ivy-League school.

It would sure be great if we all could get away from the idea of voting for (in our view) the lesser of two evils. It would sure be great if we had a choice of voting for someone that actually understood and represented the working middle-class. How can anyone represent and understand the middle-class, if they've never been part of it? They can't! They study and poll issues that they think will appeal to us, then profess them.

They keep saying how divided the country is. For the most part, I don't believe that's really true. I think most of us have the same core values. It's only the radical right and radical left that are divided. The vast majority of us are pushed or drug to the "right" candidate, or the "left" candidate, because we have no "middle" candidates.

Another thing I see wrong is when the Republican party can put a candidate, Allan Keyes, in the Illinois Senatorial race, when he's not from Illinois. Same thing with Hillary Clinton in New York a couple years ago. Is that what our Constitution intended? Instead of representation of 50 states, it's now representation of two parties (see party-line votes).

I don't feel that either party really represents us. We're the pawns in a battle of kings.
