Even though our plans fell through for SETWA Days you still placed 2nd Nt Ch both nights! Way to go! I know Legend made you proud! He is going to follow in the footsteps of his old man-The Rat Trap! I know someone can "STILL" hear that 22 pop from Saturday night when they didn't even bring their scorecard back!!! What comes around, goes around!!!

He did very well. Made me proud and brought back the memories of "THE OLD MAN"! I would say that 22 is still in the ears of some hunters in NC! LOL!! It was a bright weekend. He had every coon or a den. Made no mistakes for a young dog. We thank you for haveing it all ready, even though we did not get to hunt with you. Just hollow for the trip to Ohio!!

Hit two of those drops last night! It was bam, bam slam! My ugly old no account Swamp Cat male sure looked and sounded good standing on the hardwood with the meat above his head! I sure am glad coon season never closes in NC! LOL!

I don't think I will try to guide next year! It is just such a hassle and I don't expect the coon population to be that good down there next year!!! Time to go stock up on the 22cb's!!!

Chopper

Ricky,

Ole Chopper is still kickin'. Still treein' a few coons! Brian just got burnt out going to the hunts and we never finished him out. Still sounds good on the tree, good to hunt young dogs with now because he has learned to back them even when he doesn't tree first! Brian would love a pup out of him and the right female. If you know anyone that has a good Walker female(the right kind) he probably would breed for a pup! Chopper has been a pleasure to hunt all these years and we appreciate you selling him to us! I will probably see you at Dobson.
