Ive never had an issue i have 6 bait sites and 3 cams i put out and rotate bait to bait. ive heard in the past with the ol 35mm cams the bears like the smell of the film so they eat it. ive carried mine to the bait in the bait bucket and never had them touch it. my dad puts his on the tree with bungee cords so if it tries to rip it down it cant get a good grip on it.

Sorry I have not been on here in a while. That wasn't a tracking collar it was a lid off a 5 gallon bucket with a hole in it. The dnr trapped him last summer and he doesn't have it on his neck anymore. The other stuff you see on the bottom of his neck is when he fattens up for the winter it cuts into his neck and looks like it gets infected. We have treed him a few times during training season and have video and lots of pictures of him.

not baitin but

this guy got stuck in one the dumpsters close to my house it was a big container and he couldnt grab ahold of nething to pull him self out. so i went home got the camera an a 8ft 2x4 an shoved it in the corner, he walked up to it grabed it with his mouth an turned it how he wanted itm took his front paws an pulled down on it then walked right up the board to the top the can, it was pretty amazin to watch him an what he did!

he had a nice huge white v but didnt get a pic of it.
