Frozen Seman Questions ?

I am considering having a GRNTCH 10 year old English male milked. He has cancer in both rear legs his bloodline is getting hard to get. Where do I start? What all is involved? Cost? Storage? Having artifical insenmation done? All info will be appreciated.. Thanks, JR

175-200 $$ per collection
25-40$$a year storage
200 $$ a female testing and AI included

Dean is the best I have dealt with, I have wasted alot of semen sending it to different places. If Dean never gets me another pup from AI he has done a great job for me. Hope this helps.

i will be checking with them next week--

i was told collecting an older dog made it alot harder to get pups
from frozen semen. I don't know myself so i'm going to make some calls.

I agree!! Dean is the man!! Stanley is right on pricing I believe other than the storage I think now is based on how many breedings you have in storage. Just call Dean and skip all the rest, he'll do you right and fill you in on everything!

Had a Gr.Nt.Ch. dog named Magic out of Stanly's Spike dog collected and frozen a couple months ago. He was 12-13 yrs old and died Jan. 3rd this year, his semen was very good, Dean froze it and Bobby Jennett got 5 breedings off him in storage. Dean said he was very potent. The message here is, you never know until you collect the dog and look at it under the microscope!!! Or should I say let Dean look at it...LOL!!!

Jr if you go to the coonhound page were the misc. stuff is sold Big Bawler put a post on for all of them check it out might help he also told me he has had several calls from diff. ones give him a call.Hope this helped

I've used Dean at Nevergone and the man knows his business. I've talked to a lot of people and have never heard anything negative about him.
