I've used this one(Inver Grove Heights Hospital) before and I would NOT recommend them to anybody. The lady collecting got mostly urine and clearly did not know what she was doing. I did use the Stillwater Vet Clinic and nothing but good to say about them. Doc Rice knows his stuff !!

Synbiotics Freezing Center in Wisconsin is still going ?? Last I called Howard he was not doing it, that was about a year ago. He pioneered the process many years ago with his father.

I had a dose of semen off Hardwood Henry for 5 years, don't know when it was collected. The vet you have listed at Veedersbug, In. collected it. I had it shipped to Nevergone at Wabash, In and Dean Bitzel bred my bitch with it. Got 7 healthy pups. The cost to have it shipped was astronomical, I'll never do that again. The cost at Nevergone was very reasonable. Next time (if there ever is a next time) I will deal only with Bitzel.

We've used Galaxie Genetics and do recommend them! Leroy is a great guy and he knows what he is doing. He treats each animal that comes in there with care and he is a great guy to work with. Can't say enough good things about him and his facility.

he is in clumbus ohio..185.00 first time 10.00 it is to make the plate 175.00 after that and i think the first 50 straws is like around 60.00 a year for storage and if you got a good one that is cheep to breed after he is gone .i got 15 straws the first time and that was with onley 1 nut becauls vegas lost one dun to a huntting acitent where he treed so hard for about 6 houres befor i got to him and then a trippel on the way out then i senan the broplem and took vegas strait to the vet he said wat coused it was where he got so hot becauls the hotter a dog or you get the lower the balls drop and it coulesd a nut string to twist killing on nut,hope you can read my bad writting,david boggs..ps.. leroy is just 3 and a half howers away from me so i got to get vegas back up there soon

At 13 years old, I would have him checked locally before I made the trip to see Leroy. At his age a strong collection that is needed to freeze will not be in his favor! Has he produced any pups lately?

danny, he produced a litter last year. i agree a test would be a good idea but they have draw seman to test it. might as well have him drawn at leroys place then if he tests ok have it froze. i know his count wont be too high but hope its enough to get a few gyp bred in the future.
