sick of this nc weather

Im so sick of this weather i have been laid up way to long i can count on one hand the number of times i have got too hunt in two weeks that is disgusting i am ready to hit the timber but its either snow or ice every night anybody else havin this trouble or is it just me

SICK OF IT TO

I dont live to far from the VA. NC. border about 1 hour & 10 minutes from MT. AIRY NC. in Floyd co. VA. AS you probably know we are right in the Blue Ridge Mt., elevation over 3000 ft. Yes we do get a little snow every winter but nothing like this. We normally get 8 to 10 inches in a normal winter, but this is crazy. Since CHRISTmas we have had 15 in. one time 10 in. another time and 12 in. 2 days ago. THIS IS THE SUNNY SOUTH WHAT HAS HAPPENED MR. AL GORE. All I know is my young dogs aint been out in a month and my young leopard female needs to be hunted bad. How do them coon hunters up north stand it every year, my hat is off to yall northern boys up there. Friends all I know is I will be glad when the dogwoods are bloomin and the turkeys are gobblin. GOD BLESS YALL.

actually sunday starts a new week, there is only 2 weekends but week to week only 1 if you dont count the weekend comeing up as to say NEXT weekend,you have to count it as THIS weekend.

every time you turn the weather on its snow or icey rain in the forcast i wouldnt mind it but the snow freezes and i hate to put my dogs feet on that icey snow and stuff his pads i wander if we call the wildlife office if they will extend are season due to bad weather lol like they did me in school

Been hunting in the rain & snow so much feel like a duck {lol} just glad we dont get it the way you fellows do north of us.Instead of snow we got to worry about flooded rivers and creeks.

well im kinda glad i dnt have to worry about flooding i live on top of a mountian but i dont belive we have had a day in two or three weeks that are road aint been ice in most spots but bout to break down and get the old dog and bust the brush before are season goes out

Weather

Yeah I know what you mean.We've had so much rain and snow this winter,the field across from my house looks like a lake.The ground is so saturated that it can't absorb anymore water.Not only that,where I live I hunt mostly swamps.And I can't even hunt them.They are so full there's no way even hipboots will do you any good.This is,by far,the worst winter I ever seen in my 53 yrs.It's got to get better.
