boot/waders question

Got a pair of Muck boots, love 'em. But have to keep 'em rolled down to get them on. Wanted to get a pair with light weight waders attached. Couldn't get my foot down in them. They bunch up around my ankle cause I've actually got muscles not sticks below my knee. LOL I hate to see what someone with a little meat on their bones does about this...

But anyway, what brand of boot would offer the same aggressive tread and comfort that the Muck boot has but maybe not made of neoprene on the upper part. And I want attached waders...

I have Muck boots with light weight chaps and I was thinking they were a bit loose around the ankles. They pull off my feet if I bog in deep mud. They are a sort of semi-ankle fit I think. My legs are not really bulky below the knee. Maybe Lacrosse has one that is not an ankle fit that you can get with chaps. Call some of the hunting supply people and ask! Maybe they can help you,

I can get Kevin @ Dan's to fix up a pair of Mucks and chaps just for you, we will just have to do a bunch of measuring.

Well considering I am a woman that weighs about 125 lbs, I'm not sure if I need that exactly. I've rode horses all my life and am very active outdoors so I don't have bird legs like the boot makers expect from a woman my size. It's just that I wear a size 6 boot, and to get that style boot to fit my calves I have to go up to a size 7 or 8 and that just flops around on my foot. I don't like the Lacrosse boots cause they aren't the aggressive tread that I like for the mountains. I know Muck makes a boot that is not all neoprene on top, I've seen it somewhere. I wandered if anyone else had any other ideas, thanks.

I've been trying the Wetland Muck boot, any other styles maybe?

Call me tomorrow afternoon and I'll tell you the options out there. Your vest should be here this week.

That IS alot of dynamite cramed in a small package. With that kind of calves you might have a problem getting anything that is big enough in the calf area with that shoe size. I have an old pair of Lacross Burlys that have a spike tread. Don't know if that is still available now. Hope BW can get you fitted.
