question?

i have a 5 1/2 month old walker i bought her when she was four months iv taken her hunting with my older dog and some of my friends dogs. Iv taken her about 2 times so far plan on taking her tonight.Ok so here is the question, i have been working with her on a caged coon my black and tan caught it and they both fought it.But i brought home a tail from a hunt a few nights ago i put it in a tree so i could get her use to the feeling. She will get on the tree but wont bark at all she trys to get the tail but she wont bark. What should i do?

I would play with the pup with the coon then pull it up tree. He's still young but not to young. And he may never pay mind to a dead one a now of a few dogs and dang good uns that wnt even look at a dead coon. Just keep him in the woods the rest will come!
