For Sale :) :) :)
Purebred Treeing Muckett Dog: Will run and tree own muckett and is only 12 months old. Plenty of Sackett breeding here boys. Come take a look!
for those of you that have never seen a muckett....... I havn't either! They are a very cunning animal from the racoon family that look and smell just like a coon. Only difference is...... when your dog comes treed on them little buggers..... they eat themselves leaving the tree to appear "slick" or empty. Bet ya didn't know your dog was treeing muckkets..... did ya?!

Hope you have a laugh.
Sorry Tank & TK...... I had to do it this way.

We have those here in Illinois, but we call em WIFFLESNUFFS. they can be hard on a young dog, " and a lot of fun to tell kids about "
PS: I finalyy got all my dogs broke off of them.
Jason:
Well, most people around here call them "Ghost Coons" like they can appear and disappear or something!!

Boy how times have changed--25 years ago I use to have a problem with my hounds running FIZZLEANS. Them tracks would just FIZZLE out. I guess somewhere between a Fizzlean and a Muckett there is a coon my dog should be able to tree. Just wish the dog knew that. lol

I know this thread is really supposed to be serious but this is the biggest laugh I have had since I've been on here for the last 2 months. This atleast gives me names to the animals my young hound will be treeing next year ( in case its not a coon). Thanks for the laugh everybody.
djsweetwater
there was no way I meant this post to be serious. It was meant for all to have a laugh and pull away from the mumbo jumbo rut that we all get ourselves in on this board. Hope you had the chance to relax and take it into context......... it was written for a good laugh.
PS - He is NOT for sale! gotta keep something around for a good laugh....... don't I?

I own a super nice treeing walker female that
...is 50% accurate on mucketts. The rest of the time she is just slick.

Tank..... I thought
you would have a different name for them since you are not an original midwesterner. I'm sure Todd will have a good name for them also. Hope you guys enjoyed yourselves at AO.
