Doctor said 2 more months!!

Well, I went for my 1 month checkup after my back surgery. The Dr. said I had to wait at least 2 more months before I could go hunting again..This is killing me..He did say everything looked good, all the screws & rods are still in place and all. I am glad for that, but I sure would like to go huntin'!!!
Bad thing is, the wife went with me to make sure I didn't "fib" to her about when I can hunt again!! lol. So she sure ain't gonna let me slip out now...I gotta start PT now..I'm really looking foward to that.. Anyway, the rest of ya'll have fun!

YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Work HARD at PT... do EVERYTHING THEY SAY... no cheating and be sure to stay positive... Sometimes the PT gets a bit HARD...LOL... (I had a BAD day today myself.. only did half of my exercises...) Once you get to be doing your exercises at HOME...like I am now... be sure you keep it up... a STEP backwards is more like a mile LOL... AND... mine is just a weak spine and some old injuries... not surgery... SO... even MORE important for you to push it as hard as they say but NOT harder! Keep the woods in your view... That 2 mos will mean SPRINGtime adventure for you!

Thanks Heather. I felt pretty good today. If all this snow leaves, I may try and talk the wife into going. I can listen to the race and she could go get the dogs. It would work if she wasn't scared of the dark!! LOL
They are talking like 6-8 weeks of PT. I should be able to go back to work around 20th of April.
I can hear my poor 'ol hounds out there now barking. They been up wayyyy too long..But, I know what you said is right. I just gotta see the "Big Picture".
