Looking to move

Want to go NORTH from SC. looking at the MTN areas. Yes i have watched the weather the last few days LOL

Looking at the Smoky MTN areas , either in NC , VA, TN etc...

Hey if you know of a good land/home deal in your area pass it on please. (PM). Dont need a lot of land just a move in condition home in an unrestricted area, no subdivisions, where we can have our hounds and a little garden and mabye a few chickens lol.

Hopefully a place with some nice folks that like to coonhunt.

I've been looking for some land for when we retire from the military(6more years). I've found that SC has some of the best prices for land in the south east. Land in the Mountains is on the rise not quite what the coastal land is but its getting there fast.

We love the Wears valley area west of pigeon forge.TN. was down there in Oct. and have a cabin rented for Easter to take the kids and grand childern for the holidays.Had a old sow coon on the porch every night we were there. talked to the relator and sale prices on cabins seem to be at a low price. not a lot of flatt ground like we have in illinois, but sure is beautiful hills. At 62 years I think I would have to buy me a good mule to hunt on. and a slow dog Ha Ha..........good luck in finding you a place.

Me(ladycoonhuntr) im 30 no kids andmy fella is 27 and no kids.

Our home has been broken into 3 times in 6 mos.
I lived here with my ex ( then and now law enforcement) for 6 years and never had the problems im having now.

It seems the longer you live in this town the worse things get.
to put it nice

For my 2 cents I'm move somewhere the hunting is better than mountains. BUT, people in them mountains love it. Right around Knoxville be careful. There are a lot of city folks moving into the rural areas and hunting is sparse because of it. Down around Athens, TN there are a lot of coon hunters.

I like southern Illinois myself. Plenty of hunting, plenty of coons, and you don't have to worry to much about the land owners! But, it's all in what a person wants.

Good luck in your search..I'm a little further west in Tn, but the Mtns are definately some beautiful country. Looks like some awful good huntin there too, if you can find somewhere that you can hunt on..
