matthes hounds info

anyone know where any of the steve matthes hounds are? i used to see some articles in the full cry a few yrs ago of a man who had some but i think he passed on.

Dick Muldon wrote the column in full cry, his Esau`s Red hound went to Colorado. I think the mans name is Jay Waring, that was 5 or 6 years ago.

There was a guy in northern nm that was line breeding them a few years back.He did some outcrosses with some dogs of Jay wayring of kim colorado. Im not sure of the spelling of Jays last name. He ran an outfitting bussines called pergatoire outfitters (not sure the spelling on that) If you could get a hold of him he might still have some of the mathes dogs.

You find some let one let me know if you can get some 07 - 08 full crys there was a tex man selling some pups i might have his # give me a day or 2 to look i seen to good females 1 time they were 45 and 50 pound dogs . The old man mathes died i think cancer .the dogs i am finding now are more walker then mathes.

Found the # after i ate diner i new i had it his name is richard i talked to him 1 time 3 years ago and it sounded like he had the real deal her are the #s i have for him 970 481 3809 and 254 582 7838 hope this helps like i sead it was 3 years ago just ask him about matthes.

their is a guy in knott county ky that has a couple
