Look out (Dog is found!)
For someone with a new dog that may be mine. Wednesday morning or overnight Tuesday night my older female and my 1 1/2 year old male got out. They both were seen together about 1 to 2 miles, as the crow flies, from my house early Wednesday morning by the crew hauling off snow in the area. I got a call around 1pm at work from a man who had the female. He said she was the only dog he saw. I talked to a contractor working in the area and he said he had seen the female alone around noon.
I have been riding and looking high and low. He is not at the shelter. I did see a goodlooking B&T with a good mouth while I was there if anyone around Omaha lost one. You better get him quick, because after 5 days they neuter them and put them up for adoption.
My young dog is out of Trackman. Looks like a lot of them, red head and blanket back. Has a real good mouth. Will do it all by himself. Bawl and chop on track. Bawl and mostly chop on tree. Not as accurate as I would like but getting better. Good sized dog.I have no pics, stupid me. This pup was really coming along nicely.
Thanks for any leads. If he is stolen, he could be anywhere, but especially the guys around IA and NE if you hear of someone trying to sell something like this or buying one recently. Thanks! 402-502-8746
Still searching
He was found by county workers assigned to check sewer drains for snow blocks.By accident they weren't even checking the right drain they had been assigned. They had to dig it out to find it and while they were doing so they heard him howling. They romoved the cover and got him out and called me from the # on his collar. The drain he must have run the coon in was several hundred yards away with a very small opening. He must have wanted the coon bad to force his way through that hole. I had drove by there a bunch of times looking and listening. There was so much snow I couldn't even tell there was a drain at either place. If not for the Lord and His divine intervention that drain may have been his grave and I would have never known what happened to him. Thanks to all who prayed or thought good intentions my way.
By the way this was the 6 day he was missing.
