LED Lights. Bottom line?
Can someone try to give me the low down on these new lights. I thought it was the predator and the smart light but now see others are doing the same thing. Saw one with the small battery pack attached to the back of your helmet for around $100 and the predator is $250 plus. What are the differrences? I'm mainly a pleasure and local hunt hunter and realize these may not blaze a hole like my current 28 volt box but am getting tired of chords and 4lbs on my hip.
Thank you very much.

I build the East Fork Led Cap light. There are a few differences in each of the led cap lights. Burn Times, construction, batteries and the led heads themselves. they range from $110-$150 (ours is $110)
No, they are not as bright as your 28v.
but they are all about as bright as a 20v turned all the way up on low side.
The predator has the batteries built in the head and is truly cordless. cost $250 plus
but if a person wears a hat or helmet already then why not have the batteries mounted on the back of the hat or helmet. it makes for a very balanced light and it doesnt slide down your head
