ohio hunting in the snow

whos goin huntin in ohio with all this snow tonight?

I know in WV we have 2 ft. plus on the ground right now, I am not going anywhere!!!

we might only have 3" where im from i dont know about the rest of ohio...

northern ohio we got a foot but its suppose to get warm this week so im gonna try it

yea i got a dog that needs his guts hunted out of him by himself...just to work on his indepence..so ill prolly go tonight...i give this dog 30 solied nights by himself and give a few coon to him here and there...and he will be a tuff mofo..he is already a nice dog just needs hunted...

i need 2 more cast wins to get my female in superstakes and this weather sure aint helpin the cause

im a ukc hunter but plan to do some pkc this year

josh you going to jeromesville and medina this weekend??? i'm gong to both hope to see you there. man there are alot of hunts coming up in ne ohio so you shouldn't have a problem getting that money won. all my money hasn't shown up yet but im going to try and run the state and breed race. with lisbon richmond middlefeild medina and yale is supposed to pick some up also jeromesville there sure are enuff local hunts to do it in.

Cabin Fever!

That fever is a terrible thing isn't it Martin? LOL Warmer weather is supposed to be just a couple days around the corner says the weather man. These old coons should kick in on that rut any time now. Maybe the upcoming warm spell will do the trick. I've got a young male myself that needs more solo time, but I will wait for the warmer weather before I cut his sorry blue behind loose. If the coon aren't moving you are rolling the dice if you keep turning him loose. He's got plenty of juice, and sometimes will find something to run that doesn't have rings on it's tail! LOL Don't kill em all over that way, save some of those sick Greenfield coons for an old bootick to run.

yeah mine wont run any junk he mught tree a kentucky coon(possum) every once and a while but i dont care...his al cranked up and ready to go so ill give it a whirl tonight...

im gonna try real hard to make it to medina i dont know bout jeromesiville if i can you know ill be there..there is enough hunts but man this weather is just plan horrible..hope to see ya there if we get the chance know of anyone else comin?

im from n.c. and was up visiting family in chillicothe all week and the weather was brrrrrrrrr chilly...i seen enough snow to last me a long time...the dang ohio river was even froze in places...but i did get to meet a real coonhunter while i was there...i seen a truck with a redbone decal on it and stopped at the shop it was at and walked in...i asked to speak to the coonhunter and told him that i drove all the way up here from n.c. and wanted him to take me coonhunting...this was friday and it was snowing hard and about 18 degress and this real nice young man said lets go and he was serious!!! it was nice to meet you Nick Henderson and i will be back to take you up on the hunt when it gets warmer and good luck with your red dawg...thanks again for the offer,keith

didnt even strike a track in my best hollar...dog come back surprised me...dont think he even rlly went huntin...we froze r buts off o well...

The highs have been in the teens and the lows in the single digits to below zero every night for almost the last 2 weeks here in MO. Starting to get cabin fever. Looking forward to getting out and going hunting. Have a pup that needs hunted hard and this has really put a damper on that. This week is supposed to warm up to the 40s and 20s and 30s for the low. I can handle that type of weather. Might be wet and muddy but thank God they make waders cause we are gonna need em when this snow goes to melting.
