SNOW in GA

well it is snowing in north GA. first snow we've had here in Canton this winter. think were gonna get an inch. don't guess i'll be able to hunt tonite....Not...LOL

Kroger is already out of milk. whats the deal with the milk and bread. can't we survive a night or 2 without milk and bread.can the folks up north ever find milk and bread at the grocery store.

Winter

I just got off of the phone with Billy Cochran. He said that you folks were getting some snow. I had to tell him that he did not dial 1-800-sympathy. Right here along Lake Michigan we got 32 inches of snow from new years eve till this past sunday. It sucks, but we just clean things out and get ready for the next batch. It really hurts the coonhunting for three or four months. These coyotes are catching heck though. The dogs are running them down in all this snow and making the winter much more enjoyable.

hey shaun do you have that cyanide pup chasing coyotes?
i was thinking last night how i wish i could get some of these young pups i got up there and hunt in michigan. bet i could put some fur in there mouth. ol andy treed a tuff one last night in 19 degrees.

Snow

No I never use tree type dogs on coyotes. They just don't have the bottom that these running dogs have. I had to put Pony to sleep a couple of weeks ago. Long story. Sure wish I had bred him. I'm just not into raising pups, this time it bit me in the rear. Old Cyanide sure put some fine hounds on the ground.

Yeah i like mine. He is 8 yrs old now, I know he ain't got but a few more years at most. I have a pup out of Andy that I like pretty good, but he ain't near the hound Andy is. But he's only 2 this month.

Frances Gail is from Macon and she says they close down the schools and shut everything down on a skiff of snow.

She is up here in the Land of Lincoln and tonight we have 6"s of snow, 30 MPH winds, and -20 wind chill factors. No coon hunting tonight.

yeah they announced last night that the schools would let out at noon today because the snow was predicted to start after 1. schools are closed tomorrow. we have 1/10 of an inch so far.....haha
