Whats going on with all these hounds dying? I lost my best dog just a few weeks ago, everywhere you look on this board is R.I.P. or lost another good one. Bummer hate to hear that.

ol welch's floyd was a real coondog and produced a few good ones too !
Lost one from our kennel also, she would have been 10 in February. She was my dads/sisters. She was fine one day, wouldn't eat her dry food, but ate her treats that I brought out. Next day I went out and she was bad, we're thinking possible stroke? Brought her in the basement and she seemed to be doing better, up walking around. Then I found her Monday morning, passed away during the night.

love thats all they wont,a pad on the head, a rub on the side, its like us getting a blessing from God to them.I know its not possible all of their nights out but try to be generous with your effection, and enjoy them as said before. The Lord has a kennel full of good ole bigens and big ole goodens, look forward someday to hunten paradice.
SO SORRY
We're so sorry to read each and every one of these losses. We love all our animals here.. even the...GAG... Cats.... When a hunting partner is lost it is a bit harder on the person they leave behind I think. There is a special connection if they truly love each other... alot of people don't understand it....
Bob and I both LOVE the older hounds... when we see them on here we get attached across the miles... We love to see the connections with their people.... we share the hurt when they go....
Prayers for all who feel a loss, this weather will be rough on lots of animals(and humans)... Take care,
Heather and Bob
