lucks finaly run out....

We've had a fairly mild winter this winter but i guess it was just wating for 2010 to get here, cuz it just dumped on us. Its still snowing as i type this. Just went out and we have 21 almost 22 inches on the ground and more expected today. just north east of us in peirpont they got close to 36 inches.

lol other then shoveling out by the dogs we got a snowblower we do the drive. Bought it over the summer and just now got to use it lol.

Its still snowing, bout to head over to PA for my club meeting, guess they got alot over there too.... Guess i'm going to ATTEMPT to make it anyways lol.

just got in from hunting we still have snow and ice from before christmas, now another 8in today and still snowing

Went to work in central PA yesterday, up on top of a mountain. They had to have at least 30 inches, nothing like unfreezing sewage lines in 30 inches of snow.

I noticed that snow around the outside of the kennels...would that not actually help keep them insulated from the cold wind?

we dont have snow like that so please dont think its a dumb question.

yeah is does, one of the dog houses thats in the other kennels was pretty much coverd in snow, we just made sure it was clear around the doorways so he could still get in the house. it does help break the wind.
