BH Mountain Nightime Savage??

What happened to BH Mountain Nighttime Savage??? Is he still around behind someones barn?

Nope

He is dead

did he die of old age? how long has he been dead? if he won the superstakes in 2000 I would think he shouldn't be but 13 or so at the most. But I have been looking at these message boards since around 2004 and I never remembered seeing anything about him being alive etc.

I have a litter mate to savage. stylish Rock he will be 12 in march. Rock and bawling Rebel are the last two alive out of that litter

He died at 5 years old of cancer.
James Atwell, the Dad, has seman from Savage. He was pretty broken when Savage died.

We are now promoting BH MTN Nightime Trouble, who is out of a Savage female and Rat Attack. A real nice dual grand, throwing real nice pups.

Savage

Hey Roger,
Trouble is ready to turn 5 at the end of February. He has been a real pleasure to own and hunt. He's not the best dog I have ever owned, but by far the most enjoyable, He has given me alot of good times and certainly alot of good puppy prospects. Often times Trouble sleeps in the house with my wife and me, and I gotta say........ this is a first. I never thought I would have a hound in the house, but he is just that special.



And Christy........... Thanks for the great pictorial on Savage. Like I said, the Atwells were pretty torn up when they lost Savage.
