Well I guess their's too Many "Hammers" .LOL. My Big Redtick Colored Hound is "Hammer" and Boo is His Son..

That would be a good idea! I really like hammer and boo breeding to both can work very well if they both take. Dont have to wait so long to see both crosses. If you need a place to put a couple of those pups let me know. I have a home where they could grow up and still be available to you any time!!

That picture of scout is nice. If you chopped his head off it would fit right on blu. Really good conformation also! Cant wait to see when you can get that style of hound. Then What is the next step?

Sugar Creek and Smokey River are from Part of Bills Hounds back to Scout/Blue and Ann ..

The Red/Ticked Hounds Were Reg. as English as in "Ginger" Above
She was Reg. after the the Formation of the Bluetick Breed..

As Both Sugar Creek and Smokey River Lines were Starting they Always had Redtick and other Off Color Hounds Show up in their Litters and these Pups were Reg. as English

This Hound is Directly out of Bills Stock "Borders Raider" is Part of the Foundation of Both SR. and SC.

This is Scout Also

This Is Bills Stock that Produced Scout

These Hounds are about 50-75% French Hounds

These are Pure French Like "Reese"

So You can Kinda See the WHole Impact of the French Hound Introduction to Both the English Breed as Well as the BlueTick Breed..

You Kinda have to Throw Out everything You have learned or What Fokes have said about how some of these Breeds Started ..

I think people would really take notice if they start seeing those french hounds crossed into our hounds. If they dont I guess we will hopefully just have some nice hounds to hunt and enjoy. I know Mike has been askin about these pups out of blu. So I think I got his interest spiked a little on what happens.

On a side note steve I got another majestic female traded for from new mexico. She is out of a walker male and bloodhound female. She is high tan and not quite as big as boo and hammer. They just had a litter of pups out of her but when they get them weaned she is comin to my house. She is a bear and lion dog. That will make 2 bear and lion dogs to the pack now. They both came from the same guy the other one is a male walker that they bred to this majestic. He is 5 and the size of blu. I traded them a year old english dog that they took out for the first time christmas day and he treed a bobcat for them. So they are happy as clams!

Chuck Their were No American Blue Gascons at this Time they came along from Fragments of this Old Stock that were Still Very Large .. Their were a Few Guys that held Strong to the Heavier Hounds of the Early SR/SC/OO Grant Stock and kept Breeding them which led to the American Blue Gascon Assoc..

i think thats why i really liked blu the first time blaine sent me a pic.he looks like the hounds my granddaddy told me storries of when he was a kid.the more old stuff you show me the more i like the old school,big houndy lookin dogs.

Here is a pic of Blu's full brother only older litter Can you see any resemblence between them? He is just a little taller than blu!

Both of them have GIANT really nice tight knuckled feet..... LOL !!!!!!

They are both real lookers.......make no mistake about it......I bet them two together in the woods would make one heck of a racket........
