-- scoring? (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=320155)
scoring?
a, b, c and d are struck. then a and b are treed. while scoring a and b's tree one hound is heard treeing in the distance. handler quickly trees dog c. about 30 seconds later the other handler trees dog d. still only one hound is heard in the distance. when a and b get quiet so we can hear better handler of dog c informs judge that he treed the wrong dog.
does dog d move up in tree points to 125 or stay at 75?
judge scored the situation as if c had treed and left therefore leaving dog d at 75 tree.

If it was obvious that he treed the wrong dog the only fair logical thing to do would be to bump him up to 125.
Blake, if it was, at some point, determined the wrong dog was called for first tree then that dog should have been minused the position and then awarded to Dog D.

dogs c and d sounded alot alike when they tree. with all the noise a and b were making handler of dog c made an honest mistake and told the judge that he did. judge and another cast member still said d should not be moved up. dog d did tree the only coon of the night and won the cast, although the xtra 50 points would have placed dog d in the hunt.
