Score this......
2 dogs........
Dog A is struck and treed. Wait the 5 and head in. About 30 yards from the tree , Dog B comes by on it's way to the tree. About 20 yards from the tree , Dog B makes a hard right turn and starts opening. Dog A pulls and follows. Dog B trees about 50 yards away and Dog A tress with her. Coon is seen in both trees.

A. is minused 125
B is plussed 125 A is plussed75 on the next tree..
Am I mising somthing?
I'm thinking he is wanting credit for a coon sense his tree was dead. If thats the case its not gonna happen, the dog left the tree.

Actually , it was a pleasure hunt.
I'm not a comp hunter.
With the tree being closed , I wasn't sure if Dog B could get strike points or not.
Isn't that what it means when I hear folks say " Shut out on strike" ? Or is that only on the same tree?
And Dog A keeps it's original strike points even after the tree is closed?
Mine was Dog B and Dog A was a good friends. I had never seen her (Dog A) leave a tree or tree slick , so I had to check.

my question is upon arrival at the tree why wasn't dog A handled?
if this is the case dog A pulled minus, that is due to handler error, dog b is plussed according to strike and tree position. dog A is struck plus and retree plus
so if dog a is struck first and treed second it would be
dog A: 100 strike
-125
+75
this makes +50
dog b: 75 strike
125 treed
+200
again this is assuming dog A had first and first.
dog a strike for 100, treed for 125 minus 125 for leaving (handler error for not being handled at tree) retreed for 75
dog b strike second for 75 pulled up treed first for 125 on seperate tree.
dog a would need a first and second to get back in the game, and dog B to look like an idiot for a lil while.

B would have been shutout untill A left. That opened it back up..Yes dog A keeps its 100 strike.

score
dog a gets minused on tree , dog b is plused 200 , dog b will get strike points because he was on a clearly different track , so he wasnt shut out on track .
