Speak the truth it will set you free.
have you tried floating his teeth? that usually works as soon as you do it take him hunting usually won't chew long
had a hound do this once tried a lot of things. What worked for me was I would sneak in as far as possible to were could hear what she was doing without a light on and so she didnt know I was there and would shock her. Nothing srong enough to blast her off the tree just enough to get her attention and get her mouth off the tree.

If you know someone looking for a pet here your go. I had a pup that started treeing at 6 month old. When she got to be 8 months old they told me they would give me 8 X what I gave for her as a pup . I trun it down because I knew I owned the next world CH at 10 month old she started chewing and it got worst. I know she had 5 or 6 owner's that where going to make her stop chewing. The guy that own's her now is a meat hunter he has two dog a me too dog and a 1 of a kind track dog that will eat a tree. I haven't own this dog for 3 year and can go in to a tree and see where she treed on it 3 or 4 years ago. P.S does your dog have any Nailor in it the sire of mine was bred a lot like Insane Jane. The dam chewed some but I think the sire made it super bad. Never breed your dog never ever.

Take him to the vet and have his ears checked for infection; sometimes if their ears are sore, they chew, rather than bark. Some dogs ears are more sensitive than others and even debrie will cause them to chew. I had a dog years ago that was a great hound, but you had to constantly keep his ears clean or he would chew. I have also slowed chewers down with a gentle bump of the tri-tronics, nothing severe, but enough to get their attention. Something I've always wanted to try is a product they use for "cribbing" horses; but check his ears first. Tom
