last two hunts

I went to a hunt in Forest Mississippi a couple of weeeks ago. I would recommend going there. The folks were friendly and the facilities were great. The land was FLAT ! Greg Selman went with me and my son Alex and a friend Anthony. The weather was horrible and none of the registered dogs cored.Seeker was minus 100 and Palin was minus 100 and circle 200.I think Dixie was just a zero. The dogs we competed against also minused or scratched out.The woods looked good but the squirrels werent moving. In the champion cast Pontiac was plus 200 but so was the dog he was competing against. The other dog won with circle points for the tiebreaker.

Alex,Austin, and Anthony carried my dogs to Opelika for a hunt yesterday. Palin hunted injured and scored no points.Seeker again minused. He left the tree looking for a hunter that had just shot.Rex Ledbetter's dog got minused but got back to zero. Pontiac in champion cast was beat by Ryan Moseley's dog 200 plus to 100 circle. May not ever grand ch Pontiac on squirrel.

It does get better though. In the coonhunt Pontiac finished second making him a nitech and Seeker finished first. Seeker now has a first and a second in coonhunts and is only 7 months old.You gotta pull him off the tree and he still sometimes goes back. Pontiac also got another champion bench show win and Seeker got a BOS too.
