Tough hunting tonight 19 degrees

Only found one track they could work and it was HARD for both and they both did work together on it. I was going to split them up but it was so cold and they couldn't smell nothing so I just broke down and ran them together.
Heavy frost on everything so they couldn't smell nothing but really hot ( or reasent) track. They finaly treed on a den. As slow and hard as it was who knows if it was the right one or not but they treed good on it. I was out of coffee so I just came home.

Try it in the snow. Ended up a mile from my truck. Had to cross a river. Wasn't sure if the ice was thick enough. Step, pray, step, pray. LOL
They had the meat. I could see the coon eye in the hole. I managed to squall him out, but he dove right back in and wouldn't budge after that.
Heavy frost and snow will let you know what kind of nose they have. That's for sure.

Hope we get some snow soon. It is just dry and cold here. I was trying it with a 6 month old blue tic and a 1/2 year old that wasn't started till he was 11 months. Both are pretty unexperienced BUT they found one. I think ( : it was a true din tree but I wouldn't make any bets on that one either way. ( :
They were sure and I didn't ruin there dream. LOL
